Early Intervention

Building Foundations Through Our Infant Development Program

At Joyful Development, our Infant Development Program is designed for infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) who are experiencing  developmental delays or may benefit from additional support. These include challenges related to Autism, genetic or chromosomal variations, prematurity, sensory processing challenges, motor delays, or trauma.

We celebrate each child’s unique strengths and work closely with families to provide personalized tools, play-based therapies, and a nurturing environment. Together, we focus on fostering growth, connection, and a strong foundation during these critical early years when brain development is at its peak.

What Is Our Infant Development Program?

Our Infant Development Program supports infants and toddlers on their unique developmental journey through a strengths-based, relationship-focused approach rooted in DIR/Floortime. This program integrates sensory-rich experiences, infant stimulation techniques, and play-based strategies to support growth in communication, motor development, social connection, sensory processing, and cognitive exploration.

By following your child’s interests and encouraging their natural curiosity, we help them build foundational skills in a way that feels joyful and affirming. Our team of Early Childhood Developmental Specialists collaborates closely with families to create personalized plans that meet each child’s unique needs and honor their strengths.

Promotes Developmental Milestones

Our program helps children achieve key milestones such as crawling, walking, talking, and engaging with others—all at their own pace. By supporting these foundational skills, we provide a strong base for continued growth and development.

Supports Communication and Social Connection

Through relationship-based play like DIR/Floortime, children are supported in expressing their needs and connecting with others. These experiences encourage communication in both verbal and non-verbal forms, while co-regulation provides a foundation for emotional connection and social interaction.

Enhances Motor Skills and Coordination

Through sensory-rich, play-based activities, we support children in developing strength, coordination, and body awareness. Whether grasping toys or practicing balance, these activities help build confidence and independence in daily tasks.
